Cemented carbide provides manufacturers with better quality wood working & paper tools without reducing brazing and grinding characteristics.
For the wood & paper cutting industry, extensive research has been carried out on the different characteristics of circular saws. Through the introduction of anticorrosive substances it has been possible to create materials with very high performances in any condition.
The experience gained in this industry allows us to solve the typical problems related to wear and resistance to abrasion. In the field of woodworking we produce knives for profiling and planer blades in different systems:
The carbide grades offered for this application range from K05 to K30 to cover all types of processing for different timbers.
The new WCR55 grade has been designed to solve the problems of profiling hard and exotic woods. We used a particular metallurgy to control the tungsten grains and we used special additives to improve the resistance to wear and corrosion.
We have tested this grade for profiling knives and circular saw inserts. Very important was the work of adapting to specific customer problems: loss of the cutting edge and unsuitable cutting quality.
