Usually the Hardness of hard metals is due to the Vickers measurement system
in conformity with EN 23878 (ISO 3878) directive with a 30 kg load or using
the Rockwell method A (ISO 3738).

Hardness is influenced by the percentage of binding agent contained in the hard
metal and by the dimension of the tungsten carbide grain.

The connection hardness-content of the cobalt and hardness-dimension of the
grain is showed in the graphs below:
